How do I delete, archive or resume a campaign?

Campaigns and emails all have a status. The statuses are active, hold, and archived.

When a campaign is archived all mailings scheduled for the future are canceled and all workflows associated with the campaign are deactivated. You will need to re-schedule mailings and workflows to reactivate them. 

There is no way to delete campaigns, but you can archive them to remove them from your default campaign view. The campaign must be in a hold status to archive it.

To archive an active campaign:

  1. From Campaigns > My Campaigns, filter on Active or Paused campaigns.
  2. Select the campaign that you'd like to archive.
  3. Select Hold.  
  4. Select Archive.


To resume an archived campaign:

  1. From Campaigns > My Campaigns, filter on Archived campaigns.
  2. Select the campaign you would like to resume.
  3. Press Start.

    There is step missing in archiving a campaign. You have to hit the hold(pause)button before the archive button will appear.

    What about to delete campaigns? Is it possible?

    It is not possible to delete campaigns but archiving campaigns will remove them from the view. By archiving, Zift123 is able to maintain the data on the campaign.
